We are looking forward to the fall and are working hard on the upcoming production of God of Carnage, a dark comedy written by Yasmina Reza and directed by Julia Nicholls. Shows will be November 8, 9, 10 and if you would like to be involved in theatre work, send an email to [email protected].
We can also happily announce the four actors that will be on stage for the performances of God of Carnage:
Tania Honan-Smith, Karen Parker, Matt Adolf, and Larry Colcy. You will be seeing more of them in the coming months for sure.
Solstice Theatre held its annual social on Sunday, August 11 at the Legion.
The afternoon consisted of great food, enthusiastic entertainment, and the annual awards ceremony. This year’s wards recipients were:

Solstice would like to extend its thanks to Jane Harrison and Barb Pender for organizing and setting up the event, Tracey ‘Chopper’ Adams for her help in the kitchen, Rutger Kamphuis for setting up the amazing lighting and showing off Solstice’s new equipment, Howard Southwell for bringing his band an providing the music, Solstice members who were brave enough to get on stage and entertain everyone, and Shane Greenall for manning the BBQ and cooking the food.
