For the new year Solstice is planning a few events. One is a play reading of Cake Walk, Colleen Curran’s play about 5 unlikely contestants who clash in a cake baking contest on Canada day. Everyone is welcome but we ask that you per-register by emailing Julia Nicholls at [email protected] by January 5th. The reading will be held on the afternoon of January 10th at 2:30 . Venue will be decided once we know the number of people attending.
You are cordially invited to the first ever murder mystery dinner. We must insist that all guests RSVP by January 9th. Please email [email protected]. Once registered, please make sure that you come on the date of the party since all characters must be played. You wouldn’t want the murderer to be “no show”. Guests will receive a detailed character description (including costuming and acting tips) and background information on the night in question along with their invitation. Join us for an evening of potluck passion and pistols.
